We regret to report that late on Friday evening of last week, Mrs. J. Buckley, senr., had the misfortune to fall and again sever the tissues of her right thigh which she fractured about eight months ago. The patient was removed to the local hospital, where, despite her weight of years, she is doing remarkably well.

On Monday night a fire broke out at the residence of Mrs. Brice, senr., Wagonga. “The Times” was an old landmark, and owned by Mr. Alfred Brice. All furniture and effects were lost. It is understood that the loss was partly covered by insurance. Good work by the few fire-fighters available effected a good save of an enjoyable semi-detached cottage.
