We are excited to be welcoming our members and the public back with two extremely interesting and informative exhibitions in the Museum.  These are:

  • “Treasures from the Ground, Early Mining in Eurobodalla” which tells the story of the early mining discoveries, the miners who took part in it as well as displays of mining artifacts of that period.
  • “Illuminated, The Art of Children’s Book Illustration” is a display of children’s books and the beautiful illustrations which many of the early books contain.
This unique exhibition will be of interest to both adults and children.

Bring the kids along to be entertained and educated. Both exhibitions will run until the end of January 2021.

Visitors will also have access to our permanent displays including the Remembrance Room describing the war heroes of Eurobodalla, and the kitchen and laundry layout and artifacts of mid 1800’s period.

The Rotary Room displays Moruya’s connection to the granite used in the Sydney Harbour Bridge and other famous Sydney landmarks.  The Room also includes interesting medical, agricultural, shipping and other artifacts.

Museum opening hours are Wednesday/Friday/Saturday 10.00 am – 12. noon
