This exhibition celebrates the diverse bird species of Eurobodalla, featuring stunning photographs by local wildlife photographers Beth Westra and Merrick Bailey, together with the Eurobodalla Photographic Club.
Eurobodalla is renowned for its rich natural diversity, including a wide array of bird species that call this region home. This year’s National Science Week theme, “Species Survival – More Than Just Sustainability,” underscores the importance of community awareness about species diversity and the needs of a thriving natural environment.
Senegalese naturalist engineer Baba Dioum perfectly captured this sentiment with his famous quote:
In the end, we will conserve only what we love, we will love only what we understand, and we will understand only what we are taught.
